One of the big drivers behind developing the perioperative nurse staffing tool was largely surgical services has experienced a tectonic shift post-COVID with the drop in elective surgeries that happened and then the ramp up after that. It really rocked the boat across the industry, both for nurse staffing, but also areas like anesthesiology staffing. Access to care has shifted really across the country. And there was a need for organizations to tap into insights that were more readily available than they had been in the past so that they can make adjustments as the the churn happened.
