Interim SPD Operating Room Liaison (Boston)
Surgical Directions is looking for a 1099 Interim SPD OR Liaison local to Boston. This position is the liaison between the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) and the Operating Room (OR) regarding supplies, equipment, and setup. The role assesses the needs of surgeons and the OR staff and acts as a mediator between the OR and SPD. The SPD OR Liaison identifies resources needed to implement new programs/procedures pertaining to surgical instrument preparation, assembly, and maintenance. This position organizes, directs, and implements daily activities regarding surgical instrumentation ordering, presentation, maintenance, and preparation. The SPD OR Liaison assists in developing, communicating, implementing, and troubleshooting instrument issues.
Interim SPD Supervisor (Boston)
Surgical Directions is looking for a 1099 Interim SPD Supervisor in the Boston area. The SPD Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the department and the supervision of staff, and supervises and coordinates the daily technical tasks of reprocessing medical and surgical equipment to ensure items are assembled in accordance with established policies and procedures. Surgical Directions is looking for an RN Operating Room Manager that will be responsible for overseeing the daily clinical and operational functions of the Operating Room (OR). This independent contractor role ensures efficient surgical services, regulatory compliance, patient safety, staffing coordination, physician relations, and adherence to accreditation standards. The OR Manager works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, sterile processing, and executive leadership to optimize surgical operations and patient outcomes.
