Sheri Edwards MSN is a Nurse Leader with 30 years of nursing experience and 17 years of Surgical Services expertise. She earned 2 bachelor’s degrees from UNC Chapel Hill where she also played on the women’s basketball team. She earned her MSN from Western Carolina University. Sheri has always been driven in her career to deliver the best quality care to patients. As she excelled in her career, she was afforded the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in prestigious institutions, such as: UNC Hospitals, Duke, Emory and Tenet. Sheri has taken her knowledge and experience and poured it into her role as Nurse Consultant with Surgical Directions to help drive efficiency and optimization in the perioperative and procedural care areas. Outside of work she loves spending time with family, watching movies or their favorite sports teams. Most rewarding to her is the opportunity to volunteer her services at her church and having the opportunity to add value to people in several different ways.
