There’s days when there’s more rooms running past 5 PM than they’re staffed for. They have a high load of add-on cases, and there’s not predictability. So in order to do this manually, it’s ask the staff to stay. Oftentimes, the staff just can’t leave. They can’t be relieved. And it’s truly an inconvenience. They have to possibly pick up children from daycare, and they’re stuck in the room. And there’s nothing that can be done about it. So it’s very hard to know how many staff you need, especially having the challenges of add-on cases and emergency cases. If you’re the– whoever is running the board may be able to put the cases to follow as opposed to parallel. But if it’s an emergency case or an add-on case, they have to keep running. And they may have to keep additional rooms running throughout the day, which incurs overtime and staff required to stay to finish up these cases. Huge dissatisfier, one of the primary reasons that staff will leave an organization. Because they just do not have a normal work schedule. And let’s face it, we all want work-life balance. And unless you know what time you’re getting out, that’s a basic. When you don’t even know what time you’re going home today, then it’s a huge dissatisfier.
