Susanne Kost Woloson
MD, PhD, Consultant
Dr. Woloson is a Board certified Vascular Surgeon by the American Board of Surgery practicing full time in the Chicagoland area. She completed her residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals and her Vascular Fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center. She is presently head of a private practice in the North Shore area of Chicago. Additionally, Dr. Woloson functions as the current Wound Care Director at a leading short-term post-acute services and long-term care provider in Arlington Heights, IL. There, she manages wound care nursing staff and trains on “hands-on” patient care. She is also serving as Physician Trainer for a leading provider of innovative medical devices headquartered in Albany, NY where she is responsible for training intervention physicians on Endovenous Laser Ablation. As part of her role as Physician Trainer, Dr. Woloson also developed the curriculum for a 1-day in-office training observing procedure and trained many interventional physicians throughout the Midwest. Dr. Woloson is also skilled and experienced in other Perioperative areas such as shared governance, block scheduling and operational efficiencies. Over the years, Dr. Woloson has participated in many speaking engagements for Students, Nurses and Peers. Dr. Woloson has received many honors and awards from the National Honor Society and is an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society Life Member. She holds a Certification as a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University.
