Joseph Rodrigo, DO, FAOCA brings more than 23 years of experience in anesthesiology, clinical leadership, education, and healthcare transformation. He has helped hospitals and surgery centers nationwide strengthen anesthesia services and improve perioperative care. His leadership at Carolina Coast Surgery Center contributed to the facility earning the APEX Quality Award. A Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists, former board member, and national lecturer, Dr. Rodrigo also founded the American School for Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia (AMSURA). His background also includes service as an FAA Aviation Medical Examiner and medical expert witness, with a career centered on leadership, education, mentorship, and better patient care.
