Amy has 22 years’ experience as an anesthesia billing specialist and practice administrator. She has a proven track record in effectively managing daily operations and implementing optimum systems. She is well versed in all matters pertaining to the anesthesia revenue cycle and can offer sound insight to process improvements. Amy developed and implemented policy and procedures which increased the revenue of a medium size anesthesia group by 100%. Over the last three years, Amy has developed and grown her practice from a 7-anesthesiologists group servicing one location to a 16-anesthesiologists group providing services at four demographically different facilities. Additionally, she is highly knowledgeable in anesthesia benchmarks and has provided anesthesia billing training to hospitals, physician offices and CRNA groups. Amy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and has extensive experience facilitating educational seminars, televised public service information, participating and implementing corporate retreats, as well as conflict resolution and mediation processes. Amy has worked with orthopedics, physical therapy, family medicine, radiologist and OB/GYN. She has been recognized as having the ability to bring individuals together to function as a team. Amy has been the President of the North Carolina Anesthesia Practice Managers Association twice and served as the Chairperson on the NC MGM Medicaid committee.
