Engagement Manager Remote

The Surgical Directions’ Engagement Manager partners with healthcare clients to achieve their financial, operational, and organizational goals. The focus of our work is on perioperative services and expands across the care continuum. This role is responsible for leading fast-paced, outcome-oriented consulting engagements and requires deep experience utilizing complex problem-solving skills, leveraging analytical tools and financial acumen to identify trends in data and develop associated improvement opportunities for hospital clients. The candidate should possess a track record of successfully integrating into and leading high-performance, interdisciplinary teams to meet project milestones and achieve measurable performance outcomes. It is important that the candidate aligns with our company’s goal to help transform hospital operations and strategy to radically improve client performance and ultimately patients’ lives.

Director of Consulting Remote

Surgical Directions’ Director, Consulting reports to the Associate Vice President. The role of the Director is to foster strong client relationships by understanding their needs, designing solutions to best meet those needs, and partnering with them through implementation and governance. This role will partner with c-suite level clients and Surgical Directions executives to drive meaningful change in the healthcare industry. Type of projects include: establishing sustainable value-based care programs, developing strategies to improve healthcare outcomes and financial performance, and optimizing efficiencies in surgical services.

This person must be a strong leader – to not only grow and support a team but also to create meaningful and sustainable change at a client. Communication, strategy, and program leadership skills are a must.

Business Analyst

Surgical Directions is looking for a motivated and driven Business Analyst. The Business Analyst is responsible for creating, analyzing, and communicating data, insights, and comparative benchmarks of hospital performance to assist the Company and its consultants with the discovery of current state client operational, financial, and clinical performance and to assist in the identification of potential improvement areas. This is a client-facing consulting role. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field preferred.

Business Consultant

Surgical Directions is looking for a motivated and driven Business Consultant. As an Associate Consultant, you will be part of a team responsible for solving complex and strategic issues faced by hospitals, health systems, and medical centers. Small project teams allow you access to client executives, as well as regular contact and coaching from highly seasoned consultants. We are unique in that we offer Managers and Associates visibility within the firm and exposure to a broad range of healthcare projects (2), including strategy, workforce solutions, supply chain, and performance improvement. A Master’s degree in a health or business-related field is required.
