Patricia May's Biography

Patricia is an Associate Vice President of Perioperative Nursing with over 25 years of experience in perioperative clinical nursing and nursing leadership. She has served as the Director of Perioperative Services for small community-based hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and large academic and trauma medical centers. Patricia has experience planning, developing, and opening new hospitals and ASCs. Her consulting specialties also include procedural areas: L&D, endoscopy, infusion, interventional radiology and central sterile processing.

Over her career, Patricia has managed multi-facility locations and prepared for successful accrediting body certifications, licensure and surveys from organizations such as CMS, AAAHC and Joint Commission. She is experienced with supply chain management as well as other interdepartmental functions that directly and indirectly affect the surgical suite. Patricia is a member of The Association for Operating Room Nurses.
